“I found sailing by accident when my brother invited me along. What began as curiosity became a lifelong passion. From learning on a tiny Aloa 27 with paper charts to crossing the Panama Canal and weathering storms in the Pacific, the sea has humbled me and made me resourceful. I love the adrenaline of rough passages as much as the calm of quiet anchorages and new cultures”.
“My Favorite places are: Komiža (Vis), Stari Grad, Parja Bay, Fisherman’s House, Stončica, Boršće Bay near Hvar, and the Devil’s Islands. Weather permitting, we hope to visit them all”.
“My style is controlled chaos—lots of info, weather briefings, and safety first, but with freedom for everyone to explore. Some days we raft up, other days you find your own secret cove. My tempo is Dalmatian: no rush, good coffee, music, cooking, and enjoying the evening vibes”.
As flotilla leader, Nico will be on the lead boat, serving as your guide and support throughout the week. He’ll:
Whether you’re skippering your own boat or joining a by-the-cabin trip, Mike ensures you’re always in good hands.
This interactive map is a typical sample itinerary only that we have put together. The route taken during the week will depend on prevailing and current weather.
The closest airport is Split (SPU) —just 20 minutes from the departure marinas in Trogir village. There are direct flights to SPU from most major European cities. Don’t miss staying in the Diocletian Palace in Split for a few nights prior if you can. Trogir village is a great overnight stay prior to your sailing departure. It is vibrant with restaurants, a bar scene, and a great food market for your onboard charcuterie snacks.
History lover. Foodie. Adventurer. Wanderer. Thassophile. This trip is for everyone. Couples. Solo travelers. Groups of friends. Retired sailors. Families. Total beginners. Everyone’s welcome. Requirements: just curiosity, laughter, and a love of adventure.
A flotilla is a group of yachts sailing the same route—independently skippered or captained by you—but with shared support, camaraderie, and guidance from a lead boat and local flotilla leader. Think: freedom with a safety net and a built-in crew of travel buddies.
