Tell us a little bit about yourself?

Newly retired airline pilot — many years of sailing and live aboard my own sailboat. During my aviation career, I also worked as an Instructor/Examiner for commercial pilots.

I live and teach in Montenegro. Open to travel.

I’ve always enjoyed sharing experiences and keeping things lighthearted, as you can probably tell from the monkey photo.

Favorite Type of Boating?

Sailing.

What’s your “style” of boating?

Cruiser (chill).

Favorite “type” of boating?

Coastal / Excursions.

What got you into Boating?

Family boating as a teenager.

What does boating do (or has done) for you?

It always is a challenge form a small hop, to a long passage keeps the mind and body active!

Most memorable boating experience?

Sail from UAE to Montenegro over several months.

What are a couple of your favorite boating spots?

There are beautiful spots everywhere, currently exploring Montenegro and surrounds.

What’s your favorite part about teaching boating students?

Its always fun to meet new people, and share each others knowledge and experiences.

What advice would you give a new student about boating? An experienced boater?

Enjoy – take care of yourself and the boat.

What is a random fact about yourself?

I cant believe I’m 65 already ..

What’s on your boating ‘bucket list’?

Scandinavia.
