The Dalmatian Coast in Croatia is a great area for sailing as well as exploring the ancient cities, beaches, and hidden bays and coves. There are plenty of activities on and off the water for travelers of all ages. Our family-friendly sailing flotilla provides an amazing experience of sailing the most popular area – the Central Dalmatian Coast. Embarking from the Split-Trogir area, explore the islands of Hvar, Brac, Solta, and Vis and leave with unforgettable memories.

Dates: Saturday, June 17 to Saturday, June 24, 2023.
Where & Why
The Central Dalmatian Coast – Croatia. We will start and end the sailing flotilla adventure from the home port of Trogir (near Split).
Some of the many reasons to charter in the popular Central Dalmation Coast area include: Short sails, perfect weather, hidden bays for swimming in crystal clear water, historical sites abound, fun on land activities, and an abundance of fantastic food and wine experiences.
Who
We welcome all, sailors and non-sailors alike. There are 3 main ways to join – NauticEd takes care of all the boat rental details:
- fill one of our chartered boats with you as skipper (friends and family can be crew – aka bareboat)
- fill one of our chartered boats with a hired skipper (friends and family can join in on as much sailing as desired)
- rent a cabin on one of our professionally skippered shared boats – (perfect for solos or couples traveling – each cabin sleeps two people on a queen/full size bed)

Rent the Whole Boat
Costs vary by boat and amenities. Additional costs include flights, provisioning (food and beverages), mooring fees, water toys, and re-fueling at the end of charter. Email us

Rent a Cabin
- The Cabin Charter boat is a Beneteau 51.5 with a generator and an ice maker. 4 double cabins are available. The ensuite cabin is $4050 and the shared bathroom cabin is $3750.
Each cabin fits 2 people. Price includes skipper, hostess, mooring fees, water toys, and provisioning for breakfast and lunch.
Croatia Sailing Flotilla Itinerary – Central Dalmatian Coast
WHAT IS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY FLOTILLA? WHO WILL LEAD THE FLOTILLA?
This is a casual flotilla without a ‘theme.’ This is NOT an adult-only flotilla, a party yacht week, or a flotilla focusing solely on hiking or wines or yoga. We’re laid back and run our flotillas that way. We like to do a variety of activities both on the water and on the land. Of course, you’re welcome to explore as you see fit. There is a no ducks in a row mentality; a flotilla offers you independence with peace of mind as well as fun and camaraderie with other flotilla sailors.
The NauticEd team are experts at charters—we will provide pre-charter advice, set the course and itinerary and include recommendations on things to do and see. Along with our professional on-site flotilla leader, Kristel Zweers, we’ll provide options for moorings (marinas, mooring balls, or perhaps you prefer to anchor under the stars) as well as optional activities along the way – meaning you have on-hand guidance any time you want or need.
Our professional captain Kristel Zweers will lead the flotilla. Kristel has been leading flotillas in this area for many years and knows all the nooks and crannies. Kristel speaks perfect English and Dutch and provides a relaxed and fun yet informative style of leadership.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Qualifications to Bareboat Charter in Croatia
Licenses: To bareboat charter a yacht in Croatia, you must have an appropriate sailing license. There are several accepted licenses including the ICC, and the NauticEd SLC. If you are unsure if you qualify, please ask us and we can assist. If you have experience but do not have a license, visit www.nauticed.org/SLC or contact NauticEd today. Without a doubt, you should be competent at Mediterranean Mooring and have significant sailing experience in your resume.
‘Home” Base & Travel Information
We will be embarking and disembarking from Trogir.
You can fly direct to Split airport (SPU) which is about 15 minutes taxi ride away from the base. There are flights direct from all major points in Europe. You can also fly into Dubrovnik and drive probably the most picturesque coastal drive in the world (3 hours). The highway is wide and modern. However, the 3 hours is bound to take a day or two because you’ll want to stop everywhere along the way. Some choose to drive from Trogir/Split to Dubrovnik after the sailing adventure. Whichever way you do it, both the Split and Dubrovnik walled cities are not to be missed in this lifetime.
