To us, the happiest place on earth is onboard a sailboat, but even the most content sailors can admit that a good beach, restaurant, or hike is worth the trip to land. And when you’re traveling around the US Virgin Islands (USVI) on a sailing charter, there’s a whole lot to enjoy. Just in case you need a few ideas, here are our:

Favorite things to do on a USVI Sailing Charter

BEACHES

There are tons of wonderful beaches in the USVI.  Put your toes in the sand at Honeymoon Beach, Waterlemon Cay, and Oppenheimer Beaches.

HIKE

Put on those walking shoes and check out Magens Bay Beach Trail, Santa Maria Beach Path, and any of the trails in Virgin Islands National Park.

DINE

Prepare to feast on Caribbean and seafood delights at Duggan’s Reef (St. Croix), Morgan’s Mango (St. John), and Sunset Grille at Secret Harbour (St. Thomas).  And you can’t visit the USVI without a stop at the floating Lime Out (St. John).

SNORKEL

Explore the underwater world at Coki Point Beach, Waterlemon Cay, Christmas Cove, Maho Bay Beach, and Cane Bay.

EXPLORE HISTORY

Check out some historical sites of Fort Segarra (an underground fort near Druif Bay), Fort Christian (and its Danish fort houses), The Annaberg Sugar Plantation, the Columbus Landing Site, and the Scale House weight station.
